dotted note placement in multiple voices
In Musescore 2, it was possible to move the dotted crotchet in the example to the right so that its note head coincided with the first quaver in the lower voice, as with the undotted note over the fourth quaver.
I'm having trouble doing this in Musescore 3. Moving the dotted note moves the quaver in step so that they maintain the same separation.
Is there a way of doing this that I don't know about?

Select it; Via Inspector change the head
Select one of the noteheads only and press v, this will make that note head invisible and MuseScore will put them in the same spot. This was also the best way to do it in version 2.

Select only the first quaver in the lower voice, press V.
(You don't want the dot to be invisible as would happen if the other note were made invisible.)

I forgot the "fixed" that. The dot is now visible or not with the head rather than only when selected. Also the link doesn't cover dotted notes.

That's true, but it does state:
"Make the smaller-value notehead invisible by selecting it and using the keyboard shortcut V."
Useful for this instance.

Thank you. Problem solved.
