[Android] When viewing a score uploaded via musescore.org on my tablet; I see boxes around all fingerings... making it hard to read

So I recently uploaded: https://musescore.com/user/29079115/scores/5703537

which I had found somewhere else. It looks good on the musescore Linux app and on the website, but when I use the latest Android tablet version there are these boxes around each of the tablature numbers such that it's hard to read the score on my 10" kindle fire tablet.

Anyway to get around this ? I didn't see any option to disable it via the app.
