Create Parts from Orchestral Score
I am a musescore newb.
I need to create parts for an arrangement of Beethoven 9 I have put together. I entered everything in as it is printed in my hard-copy of the piece and now when I go to make parts (big surprise) all of the double winds and brass don't split. Example: I get both the first and second flute parts in the first flute part and nothing in the second.
Is there any way to remedy this? Have I royally messed up?

Hard to say what is going on without seeing your score, we'd need you to attach it. If you put the first and second flutes on separate staves, it should work right out of the box. If you combined them onto one staff using multiple voices, it's possible to get separate parts for them, but it's tricky and kind of buggy, so personally I recommend adding separate staves to the score and copying the music to those then generating parts (you can make the staves invisible in the score).
