In Piano Roll Editor, modify OnTime for every note in a part
I'm working on a piece with vocals and the voice soundfont sounds a bit sluggish to me. For some faster sections it sounds as far as an entire 32nd note behind. I've also noticed this for the violin soundfont and some others. Anyways, I wanted to adjust the playback on the vocal part to start earlier than it should. You can do this in the piano roll editor, but it seems like you can only do it for one note at a time since when I select multiple notes, the OnTime box gets greyed out. Is it possible to offset the playback for all of the notes in a part without manually adjusting the OnTime for each note individually and if not, could this be implemented in the future?

Done.
The articulation plugin will do it for you:

You can select all the notes in the part and set the on time and off time to the same thing.

Although I'm not sure you can offset the start to less than 0 ....

Thank you. I was wondering if there's a reason that you can only edit off time and not on time when you have multiple notes selected. When I use the plugin with multiple notes selected, only the off time dialog box appears. The main thing that I wanted to do was to edit the on time for the notes in a large section all at once. Regardless, this is still more convenient than trying to do it in piano roll editor and now that I am aware of this plugin I can think of lots of other uses for it to so thank you.

Yeah, I'd forgotten about that. I (author of the plugin) figured it wasn't reasonable to want that (edit many on times), as on-time generally relates to arpeggiation or bowing, and it's reasonable to change to off-times of many notes that don't have the same on-time, so I removed the on-time box in the multi-note case; sorry.
