Shortening a score using repeats, etc.

Hi y'all,
I haven't been out here asking banjo questions in a while...but I've got more of a basic music/composition question that maybe y'all can help me with. My arrangement of Moszkowski's Danses Espagnoles, Op 12, #2 is here: https://musescore.com/user/8429266/scores/5882110
What I've done is added a repeat for the trio (it runs ABCCAB if I remember right). The original score doesn't have a repeat and thus is 145 or so measures. I wanted to keep each individual part to two pages and it is obvious that the trio repeats...so no-brainer (yah, right).
Unfortunately, when I simply add a 'D.C. al Fine', it includes the single pickup note (m48) in the Fine...I don't know how to tweak the score to eliminate that one note in the Fine. As you can see, I put a bit of text above that note to omit it for the Fine. That works for me but I'd rather have a more elegant "correct" solution.
Any ideas?
