Coloured Noteheads
Hi. A young friend of mine has asked me to help him get started playing on Keyboard. I am not a teacher but we are just looking to see if he has any aptitude before getting 'proper' lessons. he has got one of those little roll-up keyboards (3 octaves C to C) with colour coded keys. Handy until he learns to read. he is a bright kid and picks things up quickly. I have been writing up some simple tunes to get him started. We have found that colour coding the noteheads is helping his progress .
my problem is that the colouring process is a bit tedious. I select a notehead. Go to the inspector, select a colour, click OK then on to the next note. Simple but can be a bit of a drudge.
Does anyone know of a way of streamlining this process? Say like locking the colour and then select multiple elements to set their colour all at once. there may be a Musescore move that I don't know about.
Thanks for any suggestions

Rightclick on a notehead->select->more... and select same pitch. Then select the desired color with the inspector.
Or using the colornotes plugin (if necessary change the color of the pitch using the plugin creator)
(It means: first enter all notes, if it's finished color them as explained)

Good on you kuwitt. I'll give it a try in the morning. It's just gone midnight here.
