Soundfont bug(need help)
Whenever i have a SoundFont for a single instrument, say piano, it works fine. However, literally every other instrument plays that SoundFont, so i have violins playing piano notes, same with guitar. How can i fix this so that only that individual instrument uses that sound font?

do you have a different soundfont installed for those instruments? If you wish to use the default, best to have it at the top of the list in the synthesizer. Either way, you need to use View / Mixer to tell MuseScore which sounds from which soundfonts to use, if you want something but the top soundfont to be used.

I have a SoundFont for a piano but the rest is just the default, I tried putting the default at the top however then the piano SoundFont switches to the default one, I'll try using the mixer, and ill see if it works

The mixer strategy seems to work, i just need to switch the voice from grand piano to the respective instrument. Thanks for the help!
