The benefits of Musescore 4

• Jun 14, 2020 - 20:29

The ambitious project of Musescore really caused an uproar in the community and a lot of positive feedback has been shown. I congratulate every developer who are currently working on this program.
Though a lot of the pictures of development shown are positive, there are still a few things that I would like to see in the future of Musescore.

Improvement on Condensing parts - This is like using explode or implode options in musescore, but in a more define way. These condescending parts don't really touch the Mixer changes, where all instruments are in a2 or played solo.

Introducing ease-of-use/creating of additional staffs (ossias, Divisi) - This is a very honest opinion that I dislike currently in Musescore, the current hiding staves, showing staves is not really intuitive to use.

Non-destructive notes input - This would be introducing humanization on a whole new level, where in notation and piano roll would sound different. Creating more options that could clearly. There is clearly a plugin for this but this should be intuitive to use.

Expression Maps (Atributting articulations) - This would be great since Musescore will support VST's and creating articulations, symbols that adapt the way the score plays does really improves realism.

These are only ideas to improve the future of musescore. The future of notation software.
