Hello Friends of musescore!
I would like to make a suggestion for your next update if i'm allowed, i've been using musescore for what seems ages now and i love your software, i've donated a bit over the years as well. there is one thing that has always bother me when writing partitions (mostly piano and drum fills), when you get to the end of the bar, you put just one note and then it automatically goes to the next bar or page, and if i have a very wide zoom of the score, it completely changes my view of the score and i get lost and looking for it for 10 or 15 seconds. it doesn't seem like much but when you add those 15 seconds every time you get to the end of a bar, it amounts hours! and when you need to write scores quickly, is a bit annoying... Same thing happens when you press "N", the relative view of the score changes and i have to reposition it every time, if i'm working with a score with maybe 10 or 12 pieces and i want to see an "event" vertically, the change of the relative position of the view makes it difficult to work quickly. Is there anyway to change that and make the view be where i left it when i'm writing or gets to the end of the bar?
then again, i love the software, but the is always room to improve.

If you've been using Page View while writing your scores, consider using Continuous View instead, which is less prone to these repositionings (but still does them).
If you want, you can disable the repositioning by turning off the "Pan Score" toolbar button. This will both prevent the score from scrolling along during playback and the view from changing during note entry.
Thank you for your answer Jeetee! i've tried it and it works for somethings, but my problem is not during playback (witch is not that bothering really) is during the writing process, if i have to write a voicing for a piano with 6 notes at the end of the bar, i have to come back 6 times to the bar and sometimes is really bothering XD
i don't know if there is any solution for it really, but thank you for your input!

Hello, Maybe in your case it helps to switch the button "pan score automaticly". See picture.

Turning off that Pan score button does affect note entry as well, at least if you have an up to date version of MuseScore...
