Note preview permanently sets channel volume lower

I made an issue about this but it appears to have been ignored. This bug is rather a problem for me since I take advantage of the ability to use single-note dynamics with "non-expressive" soundfonts.

Probably using the wrong lingo but I hope the point comes across. You can try it yourself by adjusting the synthesizer settings, rewinding, pressing play, and then clicking on a note and pressing play again.
