Synthesizer-Fluid-Add dialog nicety
I find myself repeatedly double-clicking an entry in the SoundFont Files dialog and expecting the Save action to be initiated. Perhaps a double-click could mean "Save" all the selected entries?

You mean the file dialog where you can select a soundfont to add it to the list? That one comes from your OS and whatever a double click does in there is entirely up to the OS; usually that means select this file and close the dialog.
The only information provided to MuseScore is "these are the selected files" regardless of how those were selected.
Also, which "Save" should then be invoked? "Save as Default" or "Save to Score"? And how often do you not need to change the order after adding a soundfont?

I mean the dialog captioned "SoundFont Files" with a listbox and "Load" and "Cancel" buttons. When I double-click any entry in Win 10, nothing happens. As you observe, the usual semantic is that the file is selected and the dialog closed. When I wrote "Save," that was a mistake. I meant the "Load" function in this dialog.

Ok, got it.
Yes, I agree. Created #317284: Double click in Add soundfont/sfz list should equal Load command
