Can a new instrument staff be removed after just a few measures, but leave the occupied measures alone?
Hi. I want to add chimes to a big song I am working on (9 pages), but they only play for the first 10 measures. there are no further chimes used on the staff. It seems a shame to have the chimes staff extend through 9 pages of music, when it is only used on page 1. Is there a way to delete an instrument staff from a score in measures 10 - end, but leave the instrument staff present for measures 1 - 9?

Select "Hide empty staves within systems" in format->style...->score (https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/layout-and-formatting#style-score) or activate the option "cutaway" in staff properties (https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/staff-part-properties).
