Import PNG and convert to mxl?

Hi - Been searching the forum with little success.
Surely this is not a new topic / question:

Is there any feature/function even if external how to upload a high resolution png (or JPG, TIFF etc) file and get it converted into a mxl or mscz format?

OR - as PNGs can be converted into PDFs - has anyone tried it this way using

Well, there do exist utilities that can attempt to convert PDF into usable notation as MusicXML. You can access one of these (called Audiveris) for free via File / Import PDF. But don't get your hopes up to much, this sort of AI technology is still in its infancy.
