Unwanted 'chord' rings out at chord text symbol

After entering a 'chord' text symbol, now a piano 'chord' rings out at chord text symbol. Is this a new feature? I'm using Musescore 3.6.2. Revision 3224f34. OS is Ubuntu 20.04. I haven't tried it on a Windows machine.
