Pianoroll view

Would it be possible to add pianoroll display to the program? It would be a great for educational use - f.ex. a starting pianist could see which keys are played at each time point. I have attached a picture from PianoHead software for you to see what I mean.
In a perfect world this feature would have an option to colour the keys with separate colours in order to see what is happening with different clefs.
How about it?

This idea came from the prerelease 0.9.6 where there is the pianoroll editor (at least I did not found it in the earlier versions). In order to do what I am proposing, the keys should be at the bottom - not on the side of the display and this means that it would also need to be viewed separately from the boxes=notes. This, I believe, should not be an issue.
