Unusual Notatio Question
Hello, I'm notating a classic Barbershop chart. In one measure it has a "parallel" set of notes that are optional but must start on the same beat as the "regular" notes. The regular notes are in Voices 1 & 2. Can you give me a pointer as to how to enter these "extra" notes so that they play (optionally) correctly and don't mess up the regular note spacing? Please see attached score fragment. Thanks!

Perhaps a better more readable fragment....

Thanks, but these notes aren't really grace notes - they are meant to optionally replace in time both 1/2 notes, but optionally sounded.
I'd use voice 3 and 4 for them. You'll need to fix up the chord offsets (and perhaps leading space on the two following notes) and mirror noteheads settings because of the same pitch of those notes.
You can then use the inspector to disable "play" either on the v1&2 notes or on the v3&4 notes in that measure.
