How do I trill on the top note of a chord?
So, I have a 3 note chord, and I want a trill on the top note. When I put a trill on, it trills all 3 notes instead of the one I want. How do I do this?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Put the top note in a different voice, then add the trill to the top note.

Great! FWIW, though, I think you're better off with the voices in the other order - the top note should be voice 1 so its stem defaults to up, and the bottom two notes should be voice 2 to default to stem down. But, for now, you can also simply press "X" to flip the stems manually - an easier fix than actually changing the voices at this point.
