Plugin Development in MuseScore 4?

Can anyone update me on the status of plugin development in MuseScore 4. I am able to load a 3.6 plugin using the MuseScore 4 Plugin manager. But I don't see the equivalent of the Plugin creator function which allows you to run and test and see the console log as you run. Is this function in the queue for MS4 development? Or will there be another way to develop and test plugins? Or is there already another way?

I am testing with the nightly build of MuseScore 4.
