Cross-staff notation for chords

I've looked into cross-staff notation in Musescore and it seems to me like it's only possible to work horizontally with melodies and such, but not so much for chords.

The result I'm trying to achieve is the example to the right in the picture:

Does anyone know of any ways to do this without having to manually move the stem as I've done here?
