I downloaded the new beta and when I try to change the time signature in a composition, it crashes and redirects me to the menu screen

Not good! But in order for anyone to investigate, you'd need to report this on GitHub as requested in the announcement, and then attach your score (ZIP it first, or just link to it elsewhere) and precise steps to reproduce the problem.
