Full range of Instruments + More Percussion

I've been very impressed by the new update, but I've noticed that when using the new soundfonts that instruments like the string bass and the trombone don't have their full range, for example, I can't make the trombone play pedal tones or hear notes that you would get from an extension on a string bass. In addition to this I've used the general percussion "instrument" in musescore 3 and am forced to use the msbasic soundfont whenever I need to write an auxiliary percussion part without constantly adding change instrument texts. Again, I love the new update and especially the new sounds, but it would be amazing if instruments could have at least a similar range with the new soundfonts as they did with the old soundfonts, and if there was a general percussion instrument with different types of aux instruments (bass, gong, cymbals, etc.) like there are with the old soundfonts. (also a contrabass clarinet sound would be great :))
