MS4 can't click certain options

I'm finding with MS4 nothing happens when I click certain options. For example, I'm trying to create a new score, I select 'Choir' and select the voices I want but when I click the 'Next' button, nothing happens.

Similarly with the close X on the top right - nothing happens. If I select Quit from the menu or use Alt-F4 that works ok.

I've tried doing the same things with MS3 - no problem. Edit: no problem with any other programs, only MS4. :-(

Using Windows 11.
