remove space
looking for help removing the large spaces between staves on the first and last pages. this formatting has been a bit nightmarish, where I change one thing to fix a problem, then suddenly there is a new problem. Would appreciate any help!
P.S. If you know how to use lines in a more controlled manner please let me know!

I'm not sure what exactly you want, but if you goto Format >Style >Page and change "Enable vertical justification of staves" to "Disable..." does this achieve what you're after?
PS - best to add other help requests as a separate post. That way, more people are likely to answer you and others who are seeking answers are more likely to find them.

thank you! The space is no longer between the two staves but now underneath. I'd like to figure out how to get three staves on the first page
Format > Style > Page : MIn stave distance <---- reduce that
Otherwise learn how to use the settings on this page

Mine says "staff distance" and I took it down from 31.5 to 5.0. Worked like a charm. Have to do this with every new score it looks like.
