A beginners experience with MuseScore 4
Up to now, I've been using Lilypond to engrave symphonic music but with the new release of MuseScore 4, I wanted to test its capability and usefulness.
In the attached pdf file, I've documented my first experience and also what I believe are bugs in MuseScore as well as deficiencies that makes it less attractive for engraving of symphonic music.
Overall, after "blood, sweat and tears" I can master the basics of MS but there is still a long way to go.
I've also attached two MS files that makes MS unusable for me for the time being, the failure description is included in section - Hidden “formatting” of the attached pdf file.
The sound output in MS seems to be good but in my case a more nice to have feature than a necessity.
