I have tried to install MuseScore 4, but it doesn't work.

Since I tried unsuccessfully to install MuseScore 4, every time I log in to my computer a notice appears telling me that MuseScore wants to install a helper tool.
This notice doesn't go away, inviting me to install the helper tool. Each time I either press cancel, or I try again to install the helper tool, and whether I press cancel or whether I try again, it says that the connection timed out and to contact support. This has been going on for a few weeks now. There's no way to stop the notice appearing.
I have macOS Monterey, Version 12.6.2. on my Mac.
