(Solved) How do I delete an extra beat in a measure?
I'm trying to remove this:
Please give me clear directions because I cannot seem to find a way to do it intuitively. Thanks.

Select what is in that beat (note or silence) and press CTRL+DEL

The little gray + indicates too many beats in the measure. Right Click the measure and select measure properties: reset to 4/4
You can also type ] on the final note and it will split the measure there, and you can delete the next measure.
It's not as fast as ctrl+Del, but it's a handy general tool.
