After upgrading to MuseScore 4.0.2, I can't find the enable play-in for play back. I also can't see how to slow or speed up the tempo. Can you help?

Count in is gone - at least for now. You have to undock the playback toolbar in order to scale the tempo.
(Unfortunately there is no shortcut to do so.)

At least you helped me learn how to slow the tempo for practice.
