Applying tempo change glitches rest of the score

On 3/22 everything was fine with tempo changes, but then on 3/23 (today) I added a tempo change and it made the score from that point sound like glitched-out tremolos.

Tried deleting the tempo change
Software is up to date
I exported it into an mp3 file and the file has those glitched-out tremolos in the same part
Closed and reopened the program

Only thing I haven't done is uninstall and reinstall. Any recommendations before I do that?

UPDATE 3/30: Tried copying and pasting the whole score to a new song, and it still glitches at the same part, even though it didn't carry over the tempo changes.
