I Keep On Trying To Download MuseScore Onto My Chromebook, But The Method Confuses My Little Inexperienced Brain

I just want to write with MuseScore on my Chromebook, but you have to go to Linux in the Settings (which I don't even know where the settings are) and click on thousands of links to get from place to place. I just need and would like some help on this matter.

Just download it, set premissions to run it (I dont know, if it is same in chromebook, but in Ubuntu, you can right click on file and in "Permissions" tab, ther is "can run" ticker).
