global tuning in the synth
Hello, MS is a great programme, allowing for many many folk to have access to a mature tool and be able to grow in creativity, amongst other use benefits. However, music is much bigger, and more than just the creation of crafted sound, some exquisite, of course, in the entirely restrictive R440hz. Yes, the ability to adjust the global tuning in cents does exist, however, whilst it is included, it does not include the feature components listed below.
Therefore, can the really useful and important global tuning function seen in the ms3 synth be added back to musescore. It is invaluable, as not everyone performs at 440hz. The removal of this function from ms4 represents a retrograde step, at best. See use case, below
Can the increments be set in whole hz steps e.g. 440hz, 441hz 442hz, and not in cents, which to me is entirely useless in daily day composition
Can the available hz range be a minimum to maximum of 100hz to 1000hz - yes I do use a large part of this range - see the use case, below
Can the user be able to create a range of pre-set hz e.g. and not limited to, 396hz, 432hz, 528hz
Can it include 'save to score', apply to all scores' etc, as per the ms3 global tuning function in the ms3 synth
Finally, the use case for request - the wonderful https://www.naturehealingsociety.com/articles/solfeggio/
Thank you

Hi, any news on this feature request?

This forum is fine for discussion among users, but if you'd like the developers to look at and consider your request, you'd need to open an issue on GitHub. And realize they are extremely busy and don't necessarily respond to requests after only a few days or weeks. In this case, there is already an issue - see https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/issues/15566
