Behind a web proxy. How to direct download musesounds?

I am behind a web proxy, and this interferes with musehub downloading muse sounds. How can I directly download and install from a website? I am on linux.
I've tried the http/http_proxy environment variables, and this seems to work fine for displaying images in musehub. But once I click download, musehub isn't able to retrieve the files. I've disabled the Enable Community Acceleration, but there are still bit torrent searches on the network and the program doesn't seem to take in the http/https_proxy variables. I've also set the systemd unit service file to explicitly contain the proxy variables but musehub doesn't seem to honour it.

Can I get the URLs for the files and directly download them?
