2 voices in one chord?
I have 2 voices, the first voice is 2 whole notes, the 2nd quarter and eighth notes.
The dotted quarter looks odd to me, like it should be vertically aligned with the whole notes or maybe a teeny bit to the right of it.
How is this usually represented?

I don't know how it is usually represented. Here it is caused by the dot of the quarter note and the small vertical distance. If the whole C was a D, then it looks the way you like it.
It also looks better if you swap voice 1 and 2.
Alternatively, you can change the x-offset of the chord to improve the look.

Thanks. I've been playing with it and so far, the best I can do is swap the voices.
