From PDF file to editable file
I want to digitize the PDF file into an editable format and transpose it from in C to in B♭. This is my final goal. First, I searched for a way to digitize the PDF file using musescore, and I found the following explanation.
To import a PDF file, launch musescore and select “Import PDF” from the “File” menu.
This will take you to a dedicated site for uploading. You upload your PDF file here.
Once you press “Download”, you will be able to download the score that has been converted to a format that can be edited in Musescore.
I have tried it. But after going to the dedicated site, I could not go further.
It means that even pressing "Select PDF" and double clicking the PDF file, it does not show the file for downloading.
Can anyone help me with this?

You could install he free version of Audiveris on your computer or you could post the PDF file here for someone to have a look at it but the odds are you will be quicker entering the score manually into MuseScore.

I have tried "Choose a file" or "drag &drop" , but it seems it didn`t work. I will try Audiveris anyway, thanks a lot!

It's not an instantaneous conversion for downloading.
You will be notified via email when the conversion yields some result, good or bad.
After processing, you can download your converted PDF files on this page:

I recognised in my browser the same problem. The "download" link doesn't appear.
Try reloading the page in the browser. For me, that showed the link.
I used to be able to convert my PDF files to MuseScore but now the "Select PDF" button does not work anymore. Nothing happens when I clicked on it.
Hi all! I would like to share an excellent online service that recently helped me with converting PDF to TIFF format. I used https://pdfflex.com/pdf-to-tiff and was very pleased with the result. The service is easy to use, conversion is fast and the image quality is high. Plus, it's an online tool, so there's no need to download any software.

Why would you do that?

I think the answer is quite useful, everyone has their own definition of spam, we are a pure community, let’s stick to this

The description of the link--converting PDF to TIFF--has nothing to do with OP's request, will not advance it in any way. I'm not going to follow to that link because it seems likely to be an automated spam message directing you to some sort of malware page. YMMV.
Just did this using the new Musescore 4.2.1, and it worked perfectly. The playback is wonky but I can now edit the song. Thanks Musescore :)

I cant even upload the file. If I select the pdf, the window closes, but there is no signs of the pdf uploading. There's nothing to be seen and not even something loading. Does someone know what i have to do?

On the page https://musescore.com/import you should see the title Convert Your PDF Files beneath the blue bar. Below that a button labeled Select a File. Then you may have a section headed Converted Files and then you will have a section headed How It Works.
A) Is this what you see on the page where you tried to upload your .PDF? If not, then you were not at the right place, go to https://musescore.com/import and try again. If so, B) what did you click on to try to upload your file? Presumably, the Select a File button. If not, try that button. (However, given your description of what happened, I assume that you were on the right page and that you did click the correct button.)
On that assumption, C) do you see the Converted Files section at all? if so, does it have any entries? If not, then the page did not accept the file for upload. Try again. If so, D) is one of the entries your song? What does it say in that row, at the right?
If the webpage continues to not accept the file for upload, one thing worth trying is to use a different web browser. Your description of the page simply closing makes me hopeful that another browser could work. Another thing to try is to verify that the file you are trying to upload is, in fact, a readable .PDF file. It's not impossible that you inadvertently clicked on the wrong file.
Good luck!
