Mixer
In creating midis for my singers, my mixer doesn't seem to be working. I have all but one voice turned way down but hear all voices loud and clear. Suggestions? (attached)

You are using MuS 3.6.2 - so am I.
And I can't reproduce your problem. To make it clearer, I changed the soprano, mezzo-soprano and alto voices to vocal (better to distinguish) and used your mixer settings (gain and mute). I can only hear the notes of the grand piano.
It works as expected, check the attached midi file.
I used this export settings:

Thank you. Yes, this works. I like to use the piano sound for midis to teach parts as it's a clearer pitch. I've done this in the past with no problem but I thank you for this solution. Sandy

Okay, but the one voice you turned way up is muted, so it defeats the purpose.
Looking at your mixer settings:
Also check your Soprano II mute.
(Using different instrument sounds might also be a good idea - to more easily discern the differences.)

Yes, I should have changed that back before uploading - I took off the mutes and it still doesn't work though someone else told me to change the instrumentation to 'voice' and that works. I just prefer using 'piano' for teaching parts. Thanks. (attached)

Don't take off all the mutes.

Okay, so try this:

I only switched to Voice to hear more clearly whether these staves are off or on. Of course, it should also work with several pianos.

This is how I learn. May I ask why you are making midis?

I direct a woman's chorus and some singers don't sight read well so I type in notes an piano part and separate parts for them to learn.

Isn't mp3 better here, it's supported by many more players after all?
Have you ever tried to make the output to mp3 and then is the problem still there?

I understand that you are making audio files. Are you using midi as a general term, or is there an advantage to a midi file?
