Notes are skipped / delayed on playback when the string/note is already "ringing" with the new Harp sound
See attached example.
If one hand (for piano or harp, for example) plays a note, which is still ringing while the other hand should play the same note, this note is delayed until the string/note is "free" again.
I know, in theory, that is (more or less) correct. But the behavior is different from the "old" harp sound.
Is this intentional?
What would be a workaround to notate this without adding breaks (which are confusing the melody in this case)?

I don't know much about this but a possible workaround would be creating another harp and making only that harp produce sound (using the mixer). Then you can edit it to make it sound however you want, and hide it when printing the score (you must hide the staves but not the instrument for this to work - see https://musescore.org/en/node/351765). This allows you to use one harp (the hidden one) for the playback and the other for the notation.
