Remove accidentals/only diatonic notes
I have a devout hatred for accidentals in a score of music.
The default of creating accidentals when I move my notes is unacceptable.
How do I lock the settings so it does not produce accidentals or at least convert multiple bars back to the correct key signature without doing each note one at a time?
Thanks,
Lee

How are you entering the notes? If you use a midi keyboard or the onscreen piano keyboard, and play in the correct notes in the correct key signature , you shouldn’t see any extra accidentals, unless of course your music modulates or has intentional chromatic changes.

Alt + Shift + Arrow key will move a note diationically. See https://musescore.org/en/handbook/4/transposition#Transpose_diatonically

Thank you Steve.
I will try that and let you know. I am moving notes with a mouse.
I just don't need accidentals.

That was it. Now I can look at everything like math and never make the mistake of using letters in my music again. No everything will be chord shapes and intervals - the way it should be.

Could You post a score please?
