Grace notes preceding a tremolo.

When grace notes precede a tremolo, the grace notes do not sound, but at the end of the tremolo, a strange note sounds that is not written.

Grace Note example 1 is the culprit from Puccini's Il Tabarro, Michele's aria Nulla Silenzio.
Grace Note example 2 is my workaround using grace notes following the chord preceding the tremolo.
