Can't Get Swing Playback To Work
I'm trying my hand at writing a jazz chart for the first time, but I can't get swing playback to work on MS4. I tried adding the Swing notation from the Tempo bar in the Pallettes section, and it wouldn't work (even after tinkering with the System Text Properties and adjusting the swing settings. I tried going to Format > Style > Swing Settings to try and do it there too, but nothing would change. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong here?
Currently on OS: macOS 14.3, Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 4.2.1-240230937, revision: d757433

Perhaps you can attach (a part of) the score so it is easier to check.
Have you tried saving the score and opening again?

I don’t have a complete score written, but I’ll attach what I have so far on the score tomorrow. I did try a few times closing MS4 and re-opening the score, but nothing changed.

I normally go no lower that 8ths (rarely 16ths) in my jazz score tests. Also have a high tempo, I’ll try attaching a sample of the score file to see if anyone knows what’s up.

And I made a stupid post. Swing only seems to work on 8ths. I have it working. On 8ths. Really. But not on 16ths.

It works on 16ths when you set the swing to be on sixteenth notes.
