Harmon mute vs. straight mute for trumpet
I've gotten muted trumpet to work in the latest version of MS, but when you apply + or "mute" it is a Harmon mute, not a straight mute. Does anyone know if/when a straight mute will be supported in the app?

It's hard to say what that mute sound is. Almost seems like a very quiet version of the regular sound.

This guy demonstrates the various types of mutes, a straight mute at https://youtu.be/1XC0cxMTaLg?t=392 and a Harmon (sometimes called a cup mute) at https://youtu.be/1XC0cxMTaLg?t=477
The difference between these two mutes is apparent and the Harmon mute is the sound you get in Musescore.

As a trumpet player, I know what different mutes sound like. It might be a harmon. It might be something else. I wish they'd spend time making the regular trumpet sound better. As it is, it is very sloppy and blatty.

Blatty is a good descriptor. I did submit a Github request for an enhancement.
