Chrome OS Flex + Musescore Fails To Recognize MIDI Keyboard
Hi everyone,
I recently installed ChromeOS Flex on an old laptop, followed by enabling Linux and then Musescore. Up until now, the install of Musescore hadn't brought up any bugs. However, when I try to use my Keyrig 49 it doesn't seem to be recognized. If I visit the Bandlab website, the keyboard does work with their site. Going to PREFERENCES>I/O in Musescore it seems the Keyrig doesn't appear so I'm assuming it's not being recognized on the Linux side of the OS. Does anyone know if a workaround exists? Thank you!

Thank you for the suggestion DanielR. I checked the site and unfortunately there aren't any Linux drivers available for the Keyrig. It looks like some parts of the Linux implementation of Chrome OS Flex might have a few issues to iron out. I had a problem with Bluetooth in the OS itself that I solved by buying a Bluetooth dongle rather than relying on the built in version. I'm hoping they get the issues ironed out before Windows 10 reaches end of life. I'm seeing Chrome OS Flex as a great way to extend the life of several Win10 computers I own. The performance is actually really impressive.
