SHOWCASE - HQ Sound Fonts - CUSTOM MADE + shared - READ DESCRIPTION

Hello, musicians, and others!

For a long time, I have been fed up with the boring Musescore basic sounds as well as the trashy Muse Sounds that are not even in full development yet, which is crazy!

That is why, for the last month or so, I have worked on creating my own sound fonts for the MuseScore community to be able to use and access, including instruments and sounds that you just can't get with Muse Sounds. I am excited to share with you a variety of SF2 soundfonts that I’ve meticulously curated and created to enhance your music-making experience. Whether you’re composing a classical masterpiece or experimenting with new soundscapes, these soundfonts are designed to best accommodate your every score. Muse sounds are limiting and lack the quality many desire. That’s why I’ve taken the initiative to provide a diverse collection of fonts and instruments, all accessible through the link below. (PLEASE DO TELL ME IF THE LINK DOES NOT WORK OR IF YOU HAVE TROUBLE ACCESSING IT.) NOTES: Some files may work better for some than others, but do not fear. as I have a very wide list of choices available.

IF YOU WANT ACCESS TO MORE ADVANCED PIANO SOUND FONTS, then you will have to DM or email me in regards to this topic.

TUNED GONGS: You will have to personally message me to get this sound font. Tam Tam: I recommend, in my opinion, that if you cannot find a good tam-tam (one I really struggled to create), use Muse Sound's Tam-Tam. It is, surprisingly, not that bad for what it is, but you will have to sacrifice the dynamic velocity control. I will continue to work on this.

GUITAR: Have you any suggestions for me? Do feel free to message me your ideas! The guitar is the only instrument I have absolutely zero experience with, so any suggestion helps!

SFX: You will be able to find a variety of SFX in my files; however, I can only create as many as I can think of. If you have any suggestions, feel free to message me!

Warning: Some fonts may sound extremely bizarre, and most are the ones not created by me (i.e., HD Orchestral Soundfont), which may be good in some areas but absolutely terrible in others!! (Its kind of funny too, XD.)

HOW TO USE: After downloading a sf2 file (compatible for both Windows and Apple), simply drag the sf2 file from your downloads (wherever you download it) and drag it to the opened-up musescore app, anywhere on the tab. The app will prompt you if you want to install the selected sound font, and you can simply click yes. (You may have to exit the app completely and open it back up for the font to appear after you have installed it on the app.) After this, you can go to the mixer below (or first, pull it up to see it), and you can change from MS Sounds or MS Basic to whatever font you desire. (KEEP IN MIND: There are some fonts that will not work, and for some reasons I dont even know, but rest assured, most of such instruments will be compatible!) There are these things you will see called "banks.". These are what make these soundfonts awesome! If you are not satisfied with the "automatic" bank (pretty much the "default"), you can select from up to 128 different banks, each with various different sounds inside it. Imagine! 128 x 5; shall each one have 5 in it? That would be over 600 sounds!!!
