Note Input: Duration indefinite

In the settings under note input, there is a timer that can be set to 999ms for "Default Duration." Is it possible to make it so this can be set to an infinite value, whereas holding the key down on my midi board will continuously play that note until I release? This is the functionality in Musescore3, and without this feature makes musescore 4 unworkable.

Especially useful if then I can live play through chord options inside of the playback, seeing the notes live-update on the in program keyboard (which is presently very slow) and then make decisions before I write the music. This is, again, the way MS3 enables the workflow, but with the poorer playback engine.
