Show who's singing + bracketed text
Hi. I'm writing a song for a musical in Musescore and I'm wondering if there's a way to put text of who's speaking in the ensemble like how most musical scores do it. As well as bracketed text. Examples below from "Hamilton".

How do you flip the hook horizontally? I can’t seem to do so. It defaults to staying on the right.
Also do you have any clue for the other text type? No worried if not.
Cheers!

Start with the horizontal. In the properties of the line, it shows a start hook. Use that, and in the window you can specify how far down the hook goes. I think mine was 5mm.
As for that font, just browse until you find it!

Thanks. Do you know how to do the line thing for ensemble roles? Sorry I feel like a desperate child asking all these questions but I’m clueless to this stuff lol. Cheers.

Select a note. Go to the lines palette and select the straight line. Drag it out from the note to the length you need. Then, go to the Properties field, and specify the start hook.
