Number of Measures and Spacing

• Jul 12, 2024 - 02:33

Between measures 55 and 56, the last barline is not aligned with the other barlines above, delaying the beat and flow of the score, so I was going to see how to deal with that. Also, I need to know how to create pages/ barlines with the same amount of measures that line up evenly. Another thing is setting the tempo permanently, but that is minor than the others.

On the tempo issue, set the tempo for the piece by adding any of the standard tempo markings from the Tempo palette to the score. See the Handbook at https://musescore.org/en/handbook/4/tempo-markings.

If no tempo marking is added, the default tempo is [quarter note] = 120

The tempo slider on the Playback Panel sets the playback speed to that percentage of the tempo included in the score, even if it's the default tempo.

You have a section break at measure 55 and another at measure 62.
See:
https://musescore.org/en/handbook/4/using-sections-multiple-movements-o…
The section break creates a playback pause and also adds the instruments' long names for the new section. Those long names affect the alignment since they require more room.

Instead, use a system break.
