Beams challenge with 1 voice SOLVED
Time signature is 2/4. I had to use 2 voices to achieve the goal. I would like to do it with 1 voice, but after many tries, no such luck.
First shot is done with 2 voices.
The next 2 shots are the closest I can get with 1 voice.
If you have any ideas , I'll give it a try. Thanks

You can also just enter the notes and rests as shown. You will have beams joined in a way you don't want. Select the note to the right of where you want and hit break beam left.

Thats how I normally do it. I tried several entry combinations for about an hour, but For whatever reason it wouldn't take.

I did get it to work the way you suggest after I put all the notes and rests into the measure before I broke the beams. Yesterday I was trying to do each separately. Good lesson Thanks
