quantisation of notes from an SMF MIDI file

What is missing is the quantisation of the notes to the easiest form, using Triola or dots next to the note (rather than joining these notes with an arc extending the value of the notes). Having previously marked the shortest note 8 or 16 in MuseScore.
The songs in question are those recorded on Seq. in a synthesiser or keyboard in an SMF MIDI file.
