Pizz Sybol

It would be nice to have a pizzacto symbol so we don't have to put text "Pizzacato" and then "Arco" every time we want to do a quick Pizzacto. This is annoying when making many things, for example Paganini's Caprice 24. Thank you reading.

Yes, but it is annoying to put "Pizz" and then "Arco" every time you want a pizz. For example, I am making a violin piece, with lots of LH Pizz. My score has about 40 "Pizz" and then "Arcos".

As SteveBlower suggested, the standard pizz. and arco are implemented in the Text palette - and they provide correct playback for a bowed string instrument:

If your score is crowded and you want to use a small symbol instead of pizz., you can edit the pizz. text on your score to replace pizz. with one of the four pizz. symbols from the Master Palette (Symbols section). Search for pizz:

The pizzicato symbols are almost invisible at their default 10pt size, so you need increase the font size to at least 30pt. Then you can use Ctrl+Shift+drag to add the new pizzicato symbol to your Text (or Articulations) palette, where you can edit its Properties to provide a flyover description like Snap pizzicato above.
