Continuous View (horizontal) Instrument Names [SOLVED]
Dear MSS,
With a score that has more than just a few staves, and trying to use the horizontal continuous view, I find it quite hard to know which instrument I'm writing into!
I've tried to find an option for that within my current version (4.4.3). Am I missing something here?
Thanks a whole lot for your great efforts! <3

One possibility: right-click on a measure in a single staff. From the context menu, click on Staff/Part properties... Inspect the Long instrument name. Don't look ONLY at the Instrument: if you have multiple staves of a given instrument, that will be identical between them. The Long instrument name should be unique. (Or should be set to unique values if it's not already.)
There may be other ways?

Instrument names are already there in the Page View. My problem is when I try to work in the Continuous View, where those names appear only at the start of the score.

That's not so on my PC, where the instrument names do appear in Continuous View but are greyed-out slightly:

Actually, not even measure numbers 😞! I'm working with the AppImage on Linux (Mageia 9).
I finally found out that my Appearance settings were causing the Instruments Names AND the background indistinguishable... Choosing a different background wallpaper solved the issue.
Strange thing though, all I had done was selecting the Dark Theme.
