MuseScore 4 OSC?
Hello guys! I really want to transition to MuseScore, but I don't want to abandon my OSC touchscreen workflow. I'm so used to it and can't continue without it. But I cannot get MuseScore to work with OSC. Furthermore, is there really any OSC settings? Please help

I had to look up OSC: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Open_Sound_Control
And in that Wikipedia article about Open Sound Control it states:
"Notable software with OSC implementations include: ... MuseScore"
I think I will wait until a developer with knowledge of the MuseScore codebase can confirm or deny that bold statement!
[EDIT]
A thread in 2022 OSC Implementation: https://musescore.org/en/node/328653
... and a web search will find several older threads about OSC + MuseScore.

Yep, OSC was available < 4.0 (preferences/general)
But not anymore.

Well, there is "OSC" option in I/O settings, but there is really not much information to get it working

It was not very well documented, but see here https://musescore.org/en/node/328653

Yes I saw that of course, but thank you! Problem is I cannot do anything until I know which port MuseScore uses to communicate. Nevermind, I'll try using Bome Midi Translator to convert shortcuts and MIDI. Thanks!

MS 3x uses the port you specify in the settings.
MS 4x does not have OSC (unless i missed something)
The midi translator is probably a better choice. I use an Akai APC25 using xdotool to convert midi into keyboard shortcuts (linux), , see https://musescore.org/en/node/350517
