Ambitus unchanged after transpose

I found a post somewhat similar to this one, but not exactly. Simply, after transposition the existing ambitus does not change to reflect the new range of notes. It is easily corrected by selecting the affected clefs and then reusing the ambitus tool, but of course I have to remember to do that!

Since the ambitus is nearly certain to change after a transposition it makes sense to me for it to be automatically recalculated. It seems like a simple oversight that it does not happen, but there may be a good reason why it does not.
